02/22/15 As I sit on the bus looking out the window while we travel from Iowa to Mississippi, I cannot help but think of the countless movies and books I have read where the female protagonist is traveling by bus, plane or train and has all of this time to think and wonder. I feel like I am currently in one of those movies or books. I think of the various things I could be working on, or taking a much-needed nap, but instead I just keep looking out the window. It is interesting how mostly just like those movies or books, the girl is traveling, taking action for one reason and then in actuality the outcome ends up being one she had not even thought about. Perspective, gratitude and kindness are amazing. Today is a long travel day for us in the cast but I am actually looking forward to it. We do not have a show tonight and in the middle of the day we are stopping at a mall to do some shopping and dining. (My vote is for Buffalo Wild Wings…classy…I know…and also you are probably thinking, “wings for a vegetarian?”…but they have a great quesadilla and I love dipping it in the spicy garlic wing sauce). Not a bad way to spend a Sunday travel day. On Friday we had a show in my home state of Ohio. I am so thankful for all of the friends and family who came out to the show. It was wonderful. Also, I am thankful that I was able to fly home a for our few days off prior to the Friday show and get some errands done, laundry done and spend time with friends, family, and my favorites Joe and Snoogles. It was great! Having this travel time has allowed me time to think, focus and have my next projects in place when I return to Los Angeles. I am so looking forward to these next opportunities and steps and look forward to sharing more info in the future. In the meantime, we are heading to Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Kansas and then to California!
