11/20/15 Again, I am way overdue for an update! I will try to catch everything! We opened A Christmas Carol this past weekend! (A quick pic from our photo shoot is on the right with more to come soon.) Our director said at our final rehearsal that our goal was to have people crying after seeing our show out of joy and remembering the true meaning of Christmas. We want to touch people. That being said, after Sunday afternoon’s performance I was walking in town and an older couple comes up to me just raving how wonderful the show was. The woman gives me a hug and the man tears up and they say how much they were moved and cannot wait to come back again to see it. Wow! That is the glitter I love to spread. It is an amazing profession to be able to deeply touch people. I consider myself very thankful to be doing what I love for my career. I think I am one of the few who can actually say that and mean it. The career does come with downfalls; I do really miss being home with the loves of my life. I also am thankful for getting to spend some time in this beautiful area of Northern CA. The trees, mountains, the air and weather is so different than what I experience in Los Angeles. So cold! And we have already had snow! Anyways, now that we are in performances I will have some much needed time to take a look at upcoming auditions and just spend some time working on playing, singing and monologues. Also, I have been able to hit the gym like a boss, which is a great stress reliever. I am loving doing more yoga. On another note, with Thanksgiving just around the corner I truly have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for my career, my friends, family, Joe, Snoogles and so much more!
