08/31/13 I have had a few blog posts describing a typical day; which is funny because like I have said before, there are no typical days. This week has been so crazy that I am going to go ahead and describe a “typical” week. Here are a few highlights…
Attended a casting director workshop Attended a performance of Company (still one of my favorite shows I have ever been in) Worked on a shoot in a cosplay costume, drove to set with cosplay makeup on Attended a commercial audition with the cosplay costume including tights and leotard underneath my regular person clothes in 100 degree heat because there was no time to change before audition Attended an audition for a stand in gig that lasted eight hours Had to leave early from eight hour stand in audition to head to national commercial audition Straightened my hair for national commercial audition in Coffee Bean restroom (that was a first) Observed children’s music class for possible teaching opportunity Auditioned for small kitchen appliance commercial Auditioned for children’s tv show singing and dancing Auditioned and had a test shoot for a lookbook Auditioned again for the stand in gig Attended my first LA Dodgers baseball game Attended a Quakes baseball game for Sandlot night ...Overall, it was a crazy busy week but that is how I like it! Side note, Sandlot is one of my favorite movies as a kid. You’re killing me smalls!
