Early Morning Thoughts
09/12/11 Up bright and early at 3:00 a.m. this morning and have many varying thoughts. First, after watching the 9-11-01 specials on TV last night, I still get very teary even thinking about that day and how it changed so many lives. I am thankful for all of those who it impacted living, deceased, family, friends and the list goes on. I think back to how we were in New York City at the top of the World Trade Center, literally two weeks earlier to the day and time. Looking back at our pictures from that trip can make your stomach turn. There is a good chance that we could have been living in New York right now if it had not been for that day. Part of the reason we were on that trip two weeks prior was to visit some potential universities that I was thinking of transferring to after my sophomore year at Ohio State to pursue more of a musical theatre program. Obviously, I continued at OSU and we did not move to New York. I firmly believe everything happens for a reason and it was not the right time for us to be there. The what if’s of a situation are always there, but on the flip side, there are some really amazing experiences and people that I may never have known had this tragic event not happened. Last thought on this subject for today, is just that I am truly thankful, in so many ways.
Second early morning thought for today is that I wish I had more coffee!
Third thought this early morning is that I was a little disappointed that I was barely even seen during last night’s episode of Entourage. And even more disappointing is that you could not see Snoogles at all! It was supposed to be her big TV debut. Bummer! Well, I think I am going to contact the USDA in regards to get the proper licensing for her to be able to work on set again. She really did have a great time, loved all of the attention and I loved having her with me at work!
Fourth thought is good job Buckeyes for the win this past weekend! Keep it up!
And I think the last thought for this early morning, (and who knew I could have so many thoughts on this little amount of sleep!) is that I am excited for the busy week ahead! But think I need a little sleep before I try to tackle it!
