Director’s Chair

08/31/11  I just returned home from having a great lunch with a friend!  Surprisingly I had a shoot and an audition both ending before noon, so was able to meet for lunch!  It is only around 3:00 p.m. and I already feel like I have accomplished a lot for one day!  Good feeling!  The shoot was a quick one for the ABC show, where not only did I have my trailer, but also a director’s chair on set.  So what if the director’s chair only said Guest instead of my name, you have to start somewhere!  Plus, I get killed in this episode so it would be kind of pointless for my name to be permanent on anything!   Then I had an audition for a hair brush product.  Where I am still amazed at these auditions I attend and what the other girls show up wearing.  It specifically said in the audition information to wear Ralph Lauren ish, stylish, young mom clothes.  To me, that does not mean a short jean mini skirt with a bright off the shoulder shirt or sky high stilettos, short shorts and a low cut silky top.  Just my opinion!  Oh well, hopefully that means more of a chance for me because I can follow directions.  Anyways, busy next few days with another medical training video shoot, piano/voice lessons and then shooting all week for this ABC show.  Scheduling is getting a little tricky, but keep the work coming because I am sure I can manage!
