A Wicked Cool Audition

05/03/11  Up and at the musical audition bright and early.  Up at 6:00 a.m. still exhausted but ready to go!  There was not much traffic so I made good timing and found a decent parking spot and then stood in line for a bit.  About twenty five in from of me, but currently I am non equity so I may have to wait around a while.  The auditioners are currently taking lunch so more waiting for me.  Bummer, but I think that I will be one of the first few groups to go after lunch.  Also, met some really nice auditionees who gave me a suggestion for a voice coach.  They did not have enough nice things to say about her.  I will give her a call maybe later this week to check things out.  I really miss my voice coach back in Ohio!  She was wonderful!  More to come once I audition…About 3:30 p.m. now and I am finished with my audition.  I think it went really well!  It is always kind of hard to get back into the mode once you have been sitting around for six hours, but I think it went well!  I submitted my dance reel to the agency and they think I can move very well and are going to schedule a time for me to come in to sing for them in person!  Very exciting!
