Current thought...How many times a day do you look at yourself? Recently for me it has been 500 million...I guess that may be an exaggeration, but I can confidently say right now I am sick of looking at myself. No need to get up in arms...I am talking about headshots. Ha! I know, I know. Headshots are one if not the most important tool for a working actor. Not only do you need to have it when you go into auditions but you also need it for your online presence. And you are the focus. It is all about you. You pick the photographer, you pay for the shoot, you pick the looks, you do the shoot and ultimately you have the final say in what pics you use. That is a lot of pressure. It is great to have a team behind you to help make these decisions and give other perspectives too. It is most important to remember to be yourself and have fun because that is when you will take the best shots. My goal was to pic between 5-10 new looks. The shoot is finished and currently have narrowed down the proofs from nearly 1000 down to 300 to 125 then 30 and now finally 9. Whew! The proofs themselves look great and they are being touched up and color corrected as we speak. Once they are finalized, I will post them all here. But wow what a process!
