05/20/13 I love acting, singing and modeling as art. However, I also understand the importance of running your career as a business. I recently read this interesting article on Backstage.com about creating a logline for yourself. http://www.backstage.com/advice-for-actors/backstage-experts/how-define-your-type-create-your-brand-and-write-logline/ Basically, what I took from the article were the differences in Type, Brand and Logline. Type describes your sex, age range, physicality, job title and personality traits. Brand describes the above qualities and adds what is unique to you to it. Logline is a short phrase summing up your unique qualities, how to cast you, how you have been cast in the past and what you bring to the role. After consulting with a few friends and industry professionals, here is my new logline…Smart, Quirky, Beautiful, Girl Next Door, Surprisingly Funny!
