Incredible Week

08/06/14  What an incredible week!  And what a great way to end July and begin August!  The week started out with a shoot working with a director I had worked with before who asked to work with me again!  Then while at the shoot the director said that myself and the makeup artist (who I also enjoy working with) are his go to A team.  We went to see the musical Once, which was fantastic!  It definitely ranks in my top five for musicals I have seen and may even be pushing towards my top three.  It has been a long time since I have left a theatre feeling the way that Once made me feel.  I highly recommend seeing it.  The girls part is amazing and now I need to learn it so when auditions come around for this show I am ready!  Also, we are still performing Buddy and audiences are loving it!  So fun!  It is so funny because I had been talking about Once and how it is now one of my favorites; we had a talk back on Thursday after our performance of Buddy and as the cast is leaving the stage at the end of the talk back a woman just stands up and says "I just have to say that this is the best show I have ever seen."  Amazing to think how much I was affected by seeing the musical Once and then how much others are affected by seeing a musical that I am actually performing in.  Incredible feeling!  I had a voice lesson with my amazing vocal coach this week and left feeling ready to take on the world!  Then, I had a commercial audition where I ended up booking the role!  We shot yesterday at a gorgeous location in Malibu and today I will be heading to the theatre for more Buddy.  I am so lucky and thankful and amazed at what an incredible week it has been!
