No Time To Be Lonely

07/17/12  My family left yesterday, so was feeling a little lonely today.  But
picked myself up once I got asked to audition for the role of a singing Mermaid!  Too fun!  Anyways, had a great but busy time this past week when my mom, dad, sister, bro in law and baby niece came to visit CA.  I am so glad they all came and we got to visit but sad that they had to go home.  The week went so quickly and we did so many fun things.  We took them to touristy Hollywood, delicious Sprinkles Cupcakes & Rodeo Drive, Laguna Beach, Malibu, and so many other places.  My mom tried sushi and my dad tried sake, who are these people?!  Also, we went on the Warner Brother tour which I was a bit skeptical about with working in the biz and having been on that lot many times, but it was really fun!  One of my favorite stories from visiting WB was when we were on the tour driving in the golf cart train and my dad just looks over and says "Hey Ron Hows It Going?" To which he receives a reply "Good how are you?" and my family is like "Oh dad must know somebody from OH who moved to work out here" and even the guide is like "Oh that is nice you know somebody working out here too, who was that?"  All to which dad looks over and he says "Ron Howard"!  Too funny!  Also, another highlight of the tour was visiting the Harry Potter floor of the WB museum where I got sorted by the sorting hat...Gryffindor!  It was a great visit but now back to work.  Although, not off to the best start this morning when I left the apartment feeling like my eyes were really blurry.  I had to drive across town to get to my shoot and then drove back home, took out my contacts only to realize that I accidentally put Joe's contacts in this morning.  Oh well!  Saw a hummingbird in real life this morning and then again as a cartoon on tv this evening, so looking forward to see what this week has in store!
